About

Many read my name as “Jay-nee”, but it’s actually pronounced “Juh-nay”.

I spent 10 years working as a Chemical/ Materials Science Engineer in consumer goods, tech, aerospace and did  short stints in business consulting and also acting! Today, I’m an aspiring entrepreneur, travel enthusiast, nature lover and blogging extraordinaire. I’m the type of millennial that wants a career I love along with a happy, healthy, active personal life that leaves the world a little better than I found it. Most importantly for the purpose of this blog, I love traveling, learning about different cultures, and experiencing different ways of life. I hope you’ll enjoy this snapshot into my experiences! If I can make you laugh or say “hm, I didn’t know that!”, then I have done my job.

Now let’s go see and learn something interesting.
